Souper Bowl of Caring 2025

The Super Bowl approaches and thus so does our annual Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry!! Please consider bringing non-perishable food donations to the back of church at Masses on February 8th and 9th. Donations are much needed and appreciated!

Our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry provides food and other grocery items to people in need within the parish community and beyond. Hundreds of households are served annually with food box donations, and the need for assistance continues to grow.

Donations for our Souper Bowl of Caring Food Dive will be collected in two different ways. Parishioners can bring donations to the back of church at Masses on Super Bowl weekend (Feb. 8th and 9th). Students from the Chesterton Academy will be in the community and accepting donations at Fred Meyer (Saturday 1 pm to 3 pm, Sunday 11 am to 1 pm) and Market of Choice (Sunday 11 am-1 pm). Also, monetary donations can be made by check and mailed to SDVP, 501 NW 25th St, Corvallis, OR 97330.

Currently the pantry needs canned fruit, canned meals (e.g. ravioli, beef stew, chili), dried black beans, dried pinto beans, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent, but all non-perishable food items are gladly accepted!
